The Wingate Global Equity Fund is a large cap, international equities fund. The Fund invests in high quality companies with proven products and management track records that exhibit both lower relative risk and attractive upside potential.
The Fund maintains a concentrated portfolio of between 25 - 40 positions at one time.
A key differentiating feature of the Fund's investment process is the sale of put options to enter positions as opposed to the traditional purchase of shares on market. This process provides a significant buffer in the event of market weakness whilst enhancing the expectation of positive returns in most market conditions.
Importantly, the Fund mandate prohibits leverage. All option positions written are fully cash backed, eliminating any margin risk.
